Van der Spek announce an addition to their Touch Me range.


After consulting with their fans on Facebook and Instagram, Van der Spek announced today the details of their additional model for their Touch Me Range. 

The New Touch Me model will be: ⭐️ Standard Wide ⭐️ (compatible with Personal Wide paper + side tabs) 121 x 172mm with 25 or 30mm Krause rings. 

This new model will be added to the Touch Me ready made collection at the end of this year. 

For this introduction the Standard Wide will only be available in the colours TM Noir and TM Parme leathers.

The Standard Wide will join the other models in the Touch Me Range which include A5 Manager, Standard (Personal), Senior (A6), Junior (Pocket). When in stock these are all sold ready to ship within 5 days of your order being received.

    Madness. Presumably someone (maybe a left hander, like me!) thought: “personal is a great size. If only it was a bit wider”.

    I'd have to check dimensions to compare with custom VDS I had to make sure, but I think this binder should allow one to us Franklin Covey Compact size inserts, which are wider than FF Personal.

      If you take Filofax Personal Size (95x171mm) as a base line. The Touch Me Standard is designed to hold those with 30mm rings, you can also opt for 25mm rings if you wish.
      Going to FC compact increases the page width by 13mm. 'Standard Wide/Personal Wide' is 26mm wider. B6 is 30mm wider.
      So if these are true to the design at 26mm wider with 30mm rings. If you opt for 25mm rings then they will be able to hold B6 as well.
      B6 is a much better size, 4mm wider and a shade taller, but being an ISO size rather than a made up size (Personal Wide) all ISO size inserts (A4, A5 etc) are scalable to B6 size easily. Personal Wide almost requires a new design. Philofaxy will not be supporting Personal Wide size inserts. Our inserts do work for B6 size though. A4 > B6 = 59%
