Don't ruin that relaxed state of mind, just grab a sheet of paper and make a list of the tasks you need to do. Any order it doesn't matter.
Then take some time out and transfer that list to your organiser in priority order. Get the easy ones ticked off and the urgent ones out of the way first. Then work your way through the tasks. Ticking them off one at a time, it is very satisfying.
I arrive home later today..... guess what I will be doing tomorrow!!
Of course it is Friday so please feel free to discuss anything organiser related.
Can't beat a good list & brain dump!
ReplyDeleteMy question for today is, does anyone else find their year more naturally falls into thirds than quarters?
And (nipicky/persnickety-time!) have a cooler name for this, than "thirds"?
"Q2 of 2023" seems quite polished, whereas "T2 of 2023" just looks like the famous sequel, "I'll be back..."
Trimester?
DeleteI think it would need to be quadrimester to go down that line. I’d never come across the word until pondering the question here.
DeleteThank you for the replies! Inspired by gmax, I opted for "quads" which also means I can stick with "Q1" (etc) as a naming format, and this is strictly personal planning so no-one else will suffer confusion. Currently enjoying "Q to View" aka 8 cells, each representing one week, on facing pages, and cautiously optimistic this straddles the line between year-to-view and month-to-view for bigger-picture planning and scheduling. Ta!
