Does anyone use Indexes to be able to move between two Personals? I use a Winchester for everything but now and again need to slim down into my Slimline Kid. I've started using an index in the front of the Winchester showing which inserts can be transferred over to the Slim, but feel like I'm missing a trick?
ReplyDeleteYou could try two different but compatible colours of paper? Cream and white, or pastels? Hard to say more without knowing what problems or obstacles the current system experiences.
DeleteHow do you use your filofax to manage the modern tech of modern life? By that I mean the numerous passwords, codes, etc needed to prove who you are online. I have a few address pages with a load of random passwords without context but I kind of know what they are. However I'd prefer them to be more straightforward to understand.

I'm talking about more than just website passwords. Account numbers, banking identification codes, email passwords, Google, Gmail, Hotmail, etc. There's so many security identifications and codes. Storing them on Google, edge or special security USB drives is one thing but a backup might be good even analogue.
So do you have any good ideas? I did read about one guy's codification method simple but effectively an extra level of security.

DeleteI have a finance section with passwords, etc, account numbers are elsewhere and the different banks, institutions etc are identified by code letter. Another unnamed section has all other log in details roughly grouped, health, shopping, travel etc. Actual email addresses are identified by code letter. The filofax is either with me or locked in a cupboard. A scanned copy of this info is in my laptop.I think it’s pretty indecipherable to anyone looking at it. Always preferred analogue to digital for security issues.
DeleteDo you have a routine for archiving Filofax pages? I struggle to decide which pages to remove, and how to organise those that I keep. I end up procrastinating, and my Filofax keeps getting heavier. I’m tempted to switch to a bound notebook to simplify the process. But I’d love to hear what others do.

DeleteIt`s long been my dream to get a nice Filofax slim mini pocket version. I got inspired by these long ago discontinued model: Guildford mini extra slim.

Ebay will alert you, you need to log-in and search, and then it will offer you the chance to save that search, and an option to receive email notications if a listing appears which matches your search.
