  1. Thank you Steve for publishing these old catalogs. As I 'thumb' through them, I get inspired to create specialized templates of my own.

Just the other day I made a dual purpose annual for showing when my check drops as well as drop dead dates for my meds and supplements. I am most concerned with over-the-counter supplements such as acetaminophen and fiber. I want to buy them the month before I expect to run out. I only need two weeks lead time for prescriptions because I get 90-day supplies in the mail.

  2. A promotional email I received from Filofax UK today mentions a launch in September of “the new 1921 collection”. I am intrigued to see what that comprises. Does anyone here know more?

    1. Steve will know this better than me, but casting my mind back to the Filofax presentation at this year's Plannercon Europe, I think Filofax are planning a new range to celebrate their centenary in 2021, based on their original organiser range from 1921. I don't have any more details, I'm afraid ...

    3. From my post back in May:

With Filofax being established in 1921, they are starting to plan to celebrate their 100th anniversary. As part of this 'celebration' they have recreated the boxes that items were sold in back then.

The Classic Cross will be returning, but in a slightly textured leather, but with the same stitching detail on the cover. The samples on the stand were presented in soft pastel colours.

At PlannerCon in 2017 we were shown the 'Chester Collection' of leather organisers and other products. This was going to be exclusively available in the Japanese market only.

However this collection will be available later this year in the rest of the world, it includes organisers, folios, and travel wallets. No detail on prices but these looked very desirable organisers to own.

    4. I obviously didn't get the same email, no mention of the 1921 collection in the email I received today.

    5. I’m hoping I can appreciate the new range for what it is, without getting too hung up on historical niceties, such as whether Filofaxes were even sold in boxes that long ago!
