  1. I realise I am a little late but I have a couple of questions:

I am leaning towards using an analogue planner system for the first time in over 20 years because I am fed up with being chained to my laptop all day. I don’t Like using the calendar or to do lists on my iPhone as it’s too time consuming. Filofax is the obvious answer but I can’t decide between the personal and the A5. I like the idea of easily printing my own inserts for the A5 but it looks so bulky. What are your thoughts?

Secondly, I am slightly concerned about the “Del Boy” image of carrying around a Filofax. I can’t seem to shake it from my mind so I’d appreciate some suggestions of how to overcome that.

    Many thanks, Seamus

    1. Hi Seamus, some A5 binders can indeed become very bulky, but there are some models now with smaller rings, like the Heritage, that create a very nice and slimline binder. I have only the pages I need to carry around with me in it, and a separate A5 binder at home with all the rest of the pages I need to reference.

Another option is to use a binder that itself is lighter in weight. Leather binders tend to be very heavy, but the Domino (non-leather) binders are lightweight. They have large rings so most of the weight is due to however many pages you put into it.

      I hope this helps!
