Trawling around the internet, with my 'old inserts' eye, I spotted an ebay listing with an insert I've seen before, which I think was included in Filofax organisers at some time. Entitled 'Understanding Time', it goes on to discuss the various cycles in time; days, months, years, etc.
ReplyDeleteThen it discusses these as 'CALENDER EVENT CYCLES'. Now, I'm a terrible pedant, so that spelling error was somewhat jarring...
Since my goal is similarly OCD recreation of old inserts, I am now torn by conflicting obsessions: to correct the spelling, or to reproduce faithfully. Or, like I did for the 'FreeForm Management' notes, have two versions, one faithful, one 'correct'...

Absolutely correct the spelling. Otherwise, what are we pedants good for?
ReplyDeleteIt probably came from a parallel dimension, so you have to correct the spelling, or it may weaken the spacetime continuum!
ReplyDeleteTiem is after all not only a flat circle, but also, modified in base-60 cycles...
