If you have a Filofax organiser, you probably have diary pages – probably ones made by Filofax. If you’re happy with those pages, great. If you’d like to try something different, read on. If you’d like to experiment or adapt a diary that is just right for your very particular needs then you’ve come to the right place.

Ray Blake of the My Life All in One Place blog and I have collaborated in an ongoing project to produce a range of diary layouts that can be downloaded, printed, punched and used. You can find them all here and they are all free. They are offered for download and use under a Creative Commons Licence. That means you can freely use and adapt them other than commercially. You can share these templates with other people, but you must not charge for them.

You will find the range of diary inserts for 2023 on 'Dairies 2023' page. For now I've left the 2022 ones there as well, although they have already been copied to the 'Previous years' page

For the older format files you will find them all still listed below the 2023/2022 files, you can download the source files and create your own for 2023 or any year for that matter.

Note that the Excel files don't change, you just need to change the year. Likewise 'Previews' will be of 2020 or earlier.

On the 'Future Years' page you will find the diary inserts for 2024 and 2025 already available.

Please report any dead links as these pages are all linked and edited by hand!

As ever thanks to Ray at "My Life All in One Place" for sharing his knowledge with us.

Free For All Friday No 719 by Laurie

As I wrote in a previous FFAF, I recently moved all planning into my A5 Filofax, as opposed to my previous system where I used a separate bound weekly planner along with my Filofax.

Part of the reason for this move was to be able to plan the upcoming two years all in one book. I can't really do that in a bound book, because I am limited by the timeframe of the bound planner.

The next two years are a distinct and significant period of time for me and my family, and I am already planning things well into 2024. In my Filofax I have monthly planning pages all the way through the end of 2024, and I rotate in weekly pages as needed. I also have a designated tabbed section for this project, to hold related notes.

Being able to rotate weekly pages through my Filofax also eliminates the friction I felt at the end of every year (or in my case, the school year) when I had to carry two bound weekly planners around with me to plan the end of the school year and into the next school year. That transition time of working out of two planners was always frustrating. Now my weekly planing pages are in my one working book, no matter what time of year it is. I'll be able to plan the next two years seamlessly.

I find myself relying on my Filofax as my all-in-one system in a way I never could with a bound weekly planner.

Are you using your Filofax for any big projects?

And as always on Fridays, feel free to ask and/ or discuss anything Filofax related!
