  1. Hello! I am a french director of a school and I just bought a Filofax to better organize myself. I have a lot of appointments, tasks, meetings and incessant interruptions that complicate things ... I discover at the same time this blog which looks very rich. Where to start reading? What is your starter kit for a beginner?
What are your tips for optimal professional use?

    1. Hello Jeff and welcome to Philofaxy.

We don't have a 'starter kit' as such. But this post might be a good place to start:

Also take a look at the FAQ page:

If in doubt just post a comment on the latest Free for All Tuesday or Friday and someone will answer your questions. These are weekly posts.

  2. Hi there Jeff and welcome to this marvellous group, which is just fabulous!! I am a teacher and use inserts from both Philofaxy and Peanuts Planner Co,comes in all sizes, can be Googled, plus my regular school timetables and extra curricular timetables etc. What I did when I first joined Philofaxy was drop my bedtime reading and spent an hour looking through the index at topics that interested me:things like planner sections. There are lots of You Tube videos about functional set ups, and also many pretty pretty planner vids, which with a professional at work binder, I largely ignore!!!! Personally I find Instagram of most use and also get some, though not many freebies from Pinterest. Etsy is good for functional reminder stickers too. You'll need a hole punch in your size, and some good pens and highlighters, I recommend Cult Pens UK, and you're ready to go!!!! All the best on your setup journey.
