And as it's Friday, please feel free to discuss anything Filofax or ring bound planner related. Have a great weekend.

Free For All Friday No. 299 By Anita
I've got some time off work at the moment, and it occurred to me that it would be an ideal time to spend some quality Filofax time. I think that I'll pack my bag with both my personal and A5, lots of lined paper and settle down in the library or a coffee shop to minimise other distractions. I don't know about you, but I really enjoy times like this and will leave my phone and laptop at home on purpose. Do you have any uninterrupted Filofax time scheduled, or is this something that you do regularly anyway?

I would loveeeee to have some time with my planner! I am planning sometime this weekend. I want to change some of the sections, go through the notes (still applicable or old), just a good 'spring-cleaning'.
ReplyDeleteI have a have a question. I just bought me a beautiful Mulberry Congo leather planner (standard format). The planner needs a good cleaning up. Any advices what the best products are for this kind of leather? Thanks.
All of my flatmates are away this weekend so I'm having some quiet time, jotting down notes and switching things around in my filo with no distractions! Happy weekend everybody :)
ReplyDeleteI did that for a bit last night! Recently I purchased some printables from A Bowl Full of Lemons and finally made some time to print, cut, punch and get them in the appropriate binder.
ReplyDeleteI have a question, too. What is the best way to make the tab on dividers when making your own dividers? I hate when they look homemade!
You can use these tabs: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005G1BAUM/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI would like to know if there is only the Holborn that have a slip deep pocket that opens from the left, on the left side of the organiser.
Does it exist on other compact personal or slim organsiser? or another brand (Gillio,VDS...)
I only have found on the filofax flex range, but it is not a binder.
Have a nice weekend and thanck you for the time given to respond to me!
Hi! The Regency Filofax has a pocket like that, I believe! And they do a slimline size
DeleteI got an email today from Filofax USA. They have Personal Maldens back in stock.
ReplyDeleteI do need to spend some quality time with my Filofax but I'm not sure it will be this weekend. I need to take out July, do an Index, and tweak a couple of the sections. I always feel guilty spending the time but in the end it benefits all of us.
ReplyDeleteIn my compact planner, I have a month on two pages insert without tabs. I wanted to add tabs to all the months and here is my solution for it. I had an extra Mo2P insert that has laminated month tabs. I carefully cut the tabs off the pages. Then I used Avery Clear Return Address labels 15667 that are 1/2" by 1 3/4" to adhere the tabs to the left page of my insert. The labels are sticky enough to hold the tabs in place but aren't as sticky as package tape. I used a label on just one side of the tab and cut a little off the length of the label. Before I cut the tabs off the extra insert, I placed each tab on the page on which I will use a label. Then I traced around one side of the tab with a pencil to know where I will need to place it. Now I have laminated month tabs on the side of my pages. The labels are removable and the tabs can be used on a different insert once the year is over.
