  1. I noticed this on my phone yesterday but completely forgot! I do like the rabbit one! I love how it looks like wood too!

  2. Take the rings out and this would make a great little Midori style notebook.

  3. Cute and I know that the cut out is supposed to be a fern stem but on the rabbit it reminds me of a rib cage or a spinal chord. It's a bit off-putting.

    1. Cannot unsee...I wanted the personal, but now I can't stop thinking that IT DOES look like the rib cage or spine-ish

    2. Sorry FrillyLeela. It's almost as though they aren't putting enough thought into the new designs. I'm not sure I like the minimalistic approach that they are taking to the interior design and now they come out with a skeletal bunny on the cover???!!!!

  4. I think this is cute for a themed binder. IF I were to get one, I can see myself using it as my Vermont binder, to keep information of one of our favorite vacation states. But... I'm not currently looking to buy a new binder at the moment. Perhaps in the future.

But what's with all the binders with virtually no structure inside? What happened to pockets? Was this an attempt to keep the binders slim? I can't really see myself using any binder that doesn't have an interior pocket of some kind.

    1. I agree the lack of pockets is troublesome for me, but the lack of a pen loop is a complete dealbreaker.

    2. Also agree - not sure what the thinking is behind this - definitely not practical. I notice The Original is finally available on the FF USA site - but with brown, Black and Green sold out. Hmmm. I would like to try this one but the lack of pockets bothers me enough to continue to hesitate.

    3. I agree with Laurie; I can deal with no (or very few) pockets but the lack of a pen loop is really annoying.

    4. There is a pen loop:

'Plastic pocket with pen loop within the fill. '

  5. UGLY........I wish Filofax Corporate would invest some time into creating planners that appeal to male clientele.

    1. Joseph.
Here's the full range at present:
      http://www.filofax.co.uk/store/personalorganisers.asp?control=processrequest&tn=1

Looking through the range I see things like, Holborn, Malden, Cuban, Finsbury, Fusion, Classic, Lyndhurst, The Original, Aston.

Planners that appeal to male clientele? What isn't there to like amongst that long list?

  6. Joseph,
They've apparently decided that men don't buy their products. Self-fulfilling prophecy, men won't buy filofax products if filofax doesn't bother to design anything appealing for the male consumer.

    1. Josh,
See my reply to Joseph... the list is quite long.. I would be happy with any of those in that list. What sort of male clientele am I missing out?
